OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIVING

You can help care for young children and adolescents when they need a safe place to stay and provide support for families as they work through their problems.

Charitable gifts to YESS from individuals, groups, civic organizations, corporations, and foundations help:

provide a safe place for children to stay when home is not an option
care for nearly 1,000 children each year
meet the basic needs of children and teens while staying in the emergency shelter and crisis nursery
strengthen families through counseling as they work to keep their families together
support special projects, equipment purchases, and capital expenses required to operate quality programs.

There are many ways that you can make a tax-deductible gift to support YESS’ emergency shelter, crisis nursery, and counseling programs:

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Cash contributions provide the valuable financial support needed to care for runaway, abused, homeless, and troubled youth and is an investment to keep families together. Through the support of people like you, kids and families get help when they need it most.

There may also be tax advantages if you choose to make a contribution of stock or include a bequest to YESS in your will. Consult your tax advisor for more information.

HONORARY & MEMORIAL GIFTS
Celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, the birth of a child or grandchild, or a special occasion through a gift to YESS in honor of a friend or family member. A memorial gift to YESS is a special way to remember a family member or friend.

MATCHING GIFT
Many company’s endorse employee charitable giving through a matching gift program. Consult with your human resources department to determine if your gift can be doubled or tripled by an employer contribution match to YESS.

IN-KIND
There are many basic supplies and equipment needed to care for the young children and adolescents at YESS each day. View our needs list.
